"Countdown", ABC Australia, December 6 1981. Lyrics inspired by the recent divorce of ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Fältskog (or "Anna" as she was commonly known). In 2010, the song was included on the soundtrack of the acclaimed movie "Animal Kingdom". Watch for some "Bohemian Rhapsody"-inspired visuals at the end! Martin Plaza is lead singer on this single which was lifted from the Mentals' "Cats and Dogs" album. Both single and album were big hits in Australia. Mental As Anything is something of a phenomenon in Australia, having recorded and performed for over twenty years (1977-2000) without a single lineup change.
